My name is Jeanne Prom and I have been a life coach for 10 years. A “Seeker” on this life journey since I was in my early 20s. I consistently, passionately and joyfully pursue a wide variety of topics on Personal Growth and Healing. I’m excited over new awarenesses or discoveries which bring more joy and freedom. Teaching this information to my clients is very fulfilling, as I know I am sharing information that, once understood and integrated, will bring them, too, great joy and freedom. Like Johnny Appleseed, who enjoyed sowing the seeds for apple trees, I get enormous happiness out of sowing seeds of Pure Potentiality, Unlimited Creativity , Personal Freedom for all good things, including most of all Self Love which can then be shared with others. I work with clients of all ages, who are ready to make positive change in their live NOW. I enjoy helping both male and female clients begin to better understand the spiritual part of their lives and to help them find the form, expression and vocabulary that will best suit them. A Little Bit More of a Bio;
It is very amazing how life can slip us a few very subtle changes that somehow change the direction of your whole life! That is exactly what happened to me and how I became a life coach. I had signed up for a summer course at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, in Rhinebeck, N.Y. (one of my favorite places!). Being a painter, I decided on a painting class with an amazing visionary artist, Alex Grey, who paints his spiritual/psychological experience. It was already filled to capacity and I had to choose something else or not go. Since I was all geared up for time at Omega, I did not want to postpone my plans. They offer so many interesting classes , that is was not difficult to pick another class. Somehow, I kept being drawn to the Life Empowerment Week with Gail Straub and David Gershon, her husband, both founders of the Empowerment Institute, also in Rhinebeck, N.Y. It sounded like something I could benefit from; “empowerment”. ( Who doesn’t need empowerment?) And so it was. Upon completion of a most intense, eye, mind, and heart-opening week, I noticed a brochure about their “Life Empowerment Coaching Program”. I knew that was what I wanted to do, and the rest is history.
A whole new world opened up for me. A way I could use all I was, all I had learned in my previous education, plus an exciting new paradigm from which I could work from to help others to learn about self empowerment, too. I have always been interested in psychology, spirituality, art, and helping others, so this was just a perfect way for me to integrate all I was, and make it work for me, professionally, and even better yet, from home! ( I was never one for the stress, time, and energy of a daily commute!)
Many of my friends and associates also work in the field of ‘Wellness”, Life Coaching, and a wide variety of other Healing Modalities. My constant communication and sharing with them, along with the rapid multiplication of fabulous publications available to us now, both at the bookstores, and online, keep me in a state of constant learning and processing. More and more am I living what Eckhart Tolle calls the “Liberated Life”. My wish is to share who I am and what I have learned with others who are now ready to become more “Self Responsible” than they have ever been and who now wish to learn how to create their own awesome, fulfilling and prosperous realitiy.
